
A CMS Collection is a grouping of content types with a customizable structure in the Webflow CMS, like blog posts, authors, or help articles. A collection is like a database where content can be stored and dynamically referenced throughout your site. Each Collection signifies a different type of content, and individual pieces of content within a Collection are called Collection items.

The Dedoose website leverages multiple CMS collections in various ways, to ensure that updating content is as frictionless as possible. Within each collection there are collection items—collection items are essentially individual pages that contain the dynamic content. To access the CMS collections and collection items, simply click on the CMS icon in the Left Toolbar of the Designer interface (see below).

Houses all of the avatar headshots that appear in the Testimonial cards and the author image on the blog pages. Here is where you’ll want to place your headshots. These graphics should be uploaded as .PNGs with transparent backgrounds.
